Our Nov./Dec. 2019 issue highlights "The Role of Economics in Rising Geopolitical Instability". A number of distinguished economists will give their views on how economics could stop the global economy falling into recession due to unstable geopolitics. Our next issue will be published on our website on Nov. 10, 2019.

Japan Economic Foundation（JEF） and Komatsu Research & Advisory（KRA）will be holding the 3rd Global Risk Symposium to analyse the current rapidly changing international climate from a multifaceted perspective. We have invited 4 distinguished speakers who are experts in their fields.

In Part 1, considering the current US-Iranian situation as well as the nuclear non-proliferation issue of North Korea and Iran, the US and South Korean perspectives will be introduced.

In Part 2, from British and European perspectives, Brexit and the prospective future Japan-UK relations, as well as the importance of the Indo-Pacific strategy which is gaining prominence in the geopolitical as well as military field will be explored.

There will be an interactive Q& A session with the audience after each session.
